Arrive in Cincinnati and begin the weekend with a welcome reception, connecting with fellow participants, local physicians and other young professionals.
Spend the day engaging with physicians across specialties, hearing their perspectives, and experiencing Cincinnati through curated activities and time to explore the city.
Close out the weekend in a more focused, small-group setting—engaging in roundtable discussions with physicians and professionals on key early career decisions.
These conversations are designed to help you reflect on what you’ve experienced, ask candid questions, and explore practical topics such as financial planning, housing, and navigating the transition from training to practice.

Medical students must submit an application to be considered. Applications are reviewed by a physician-led advisory panel, and selected participants are invited to attend.
Medical students at various stages of training are encouraged to apply, particularly those approaching the residency application process and exploring next steps in their training.
No. MATCH Cincinnati is an informational and experiential program. Participation does not influence residency applications, interviews, or match decisions.
Accommodation is provided for selected participants. Travel scholarships may be available.
Up to 100 medical students are selected to participate each year.
